Nevermore Character Concept Art

There are many characters to the world of Nevermore, but for the first Alice Sketchcard set I stuck to a select few that were key to Alice's arrival in Wonderland.

Alice Starts off in space and is sucked into Wonderland, forced to wear Wonderland cloths and try to find out where she actually is...

Walrus and the Carpenter

The menacing villians of NevermoreAlice are the Walrus and the Carpenter, i always found them horrifying and evil when they appeared in the original book and as characters their very overlooked in other retellings of Alice and Wonderland.
So when i decided these were the first badguys Alice is to encounter, i wanted to make them look distinctive.

The Carpenter is deviant, his tools arent just for carving/sculpting wood, he's used them on people too and enjoyed it.
The Walrus is an old timer, with a WorldWar-Pilot feel, he's just as twisted as his freind.
When i began to design them i had flash's back to Pulpfictions Gimp and the dark moments of Wonderland

How Alice found herself IN Wonderland and the world of Nevermore

Alice was the pilot of a space cruiser called The TwineWeaver. The 3^rd Ecumentalist British Empire sent her to explore the reason a Deep Space Station (The BitterTestimont) had stopped communicating. There she discovered the Space Station had vanished and a massive White Rabbit Star ship arriving to a large swirling vortex instead of the missing Space Station… The size of the White Rabbit ship (called Dennis) threw Alice’s own ship off course allowing the Wormhole to suck her in. The TwineWeaver was shaken apart and became lost in the abyss; Alice had no choice but to climb into an escape Pod and tumble down the Celestial Rabbit Hole and crash land inside where she discovered she was inside a World Tree.

Discovering a small waiting room made of twisted roots with a sealed hand carved door in the shape of an oak leaf the only exit visible, Alice picked up one of the sixteen blue dresses that were hung in the corner and got dressed quickly. Making her way down to the door and stepping through, Alice found herself in the country of Wonderland and the World of Nevermore. Her adventures had just begun.

Each Series consists of Hand drawn Art Cards by top artists from around the world and printed Artwork cards called Base Cards.

The story of Nevermore Alice continues through each set which people can collect by purchasing packs when they come on sale on this website.

Packs usually have 1 hand drawn original Art Card and 2 Base cards and there are a limited number of packs in each series. Buy it now Buttons only appear when a set is due for release but you can explore the website to see past sets, cards and character designs as well as take a peek at the bottom of the site and read what went on in each exciting Nevermore Alice Series.

Nevermore Alice began...

Nevermore Alice began as an artcard set where artists from around the world drew original artist sketchcards which were packed with beutiful basecards and sold in packs to collectors.

Alice was seen in both her wonderland dress and space adventurer uniform as she discoverd the country of Wonderland in the world of nevermore. Alice met the Cheshire cat, the MadHatter and Teamouse, the Tweedles along with the White Rabbit and his bunnygirl spacehoppers. There were villians as well, the scary Heart eaters and the ever hungry Walrus and the Carpentor who set their sights on devouring Alice.

WHAT IS A SKETCH CARD?

Sketch cards are 2.5" by 3.5" (some Official cards are 4" by 5" or 5" by 7" when uncut) pieces of original art usually created completely in traditional mediums such as pencil, ink, markers, paint and more. This makes each card individual and essentially one of a kind.

SketchCards are perfect peices of original artwork that are easy to collect, store or frame. They take up so little space, cost very little compared to larger works of art and even make fantastic gifts.
